The work I have delivered with clients has built internal capability, improved process speed, quality and costs, and released people capacity, Some examples of my work are below:
– Created a capacity model for a Quality Control department to understand the impact of upscaling operations from an R&D to Commercial environment
– Improved site wide Environmental Monitoring in a Biopharmaceutical company: 24% reduction in samples taken; 405 working days saved per year and total cost savings of £102719 per batch
– Increased plan attainment from an average 78% to an average 88% at a global Oil company’s storage facility.
– Designed and delivered a programme to build a Quality Improvement (QI) capability for a UK Healthcare regulator. Created a Change Management methodology and worked with client digital team to design, build, test and implement a database to capture improvement ideas and track them through the 5-step QI methodology
– Reduced lead time by 59% whilst maintaining quality ad regulatory compliance in a Pharmaceutical laboratory process
– Met a 70% increase in demand with no increase in resources in a Pharmaceutical High Throughput Screening process
– Implemented Lean within a division of the NHS in Scotland and reduced lead times and improved quality in information flow processes
– Led the deployment of Lean with a UK Healthcare regulator: reduced lead times, improved quality and reduced risk of information security breaches by implementing Lean tools
– Developed and implemented a portfolio prioritisation tool linked to corporate strategy and objectives to enable appropriate change project selection and resource deployment
– Implemented 5S in an Acute Medicine Unit
– Reduced length of stay on non-elective inpatient wards by an average of 10%
– Reduced the lead time of a press release process within the Legal sector by 20%
